What Can I Do At Home?
- Read for 30 minutes every night: write a summary of what you just read.
Parents: ask comprehension questions to your child. Begin to understand: setting, plot, climax and conclusion.
- Practice handwriting skills using a notebook.
- Write your spelling, vocabulary and high frequency words: 5 times each, ABC Order, In a sentence and In a story.
- Review skills learned that school day on think central.
- Print out math and readers notebook pages to review from think central.
- Read the story for the week on think central.
- Practice skills on some learning websites.
